Prelude to the Passion

Tuesday, February 24th, 2004

Mel Gibson’s movie The Passion of the Christ opens tomorrow. By all indications it will be one of the most-watched movies of 2004, but I’m sure it will confuse a lot of people.

It’s going to be confusing because it focuses on the last 12 hours of Christ’s life without giving the context of the first few decades.

If you’re curious to know a little bit more about why Christ died and why people are still talking about it thousands of years later, come to Chi Alpha tonight at 8pm, download the MP3 archive of the message (or browse all our MP3 messages).
