Friends Following Jesus
We’re a community of students earnestly following Jesus — intellectually curious, relationally grounded, and genuinely welcoming. We’d love to meet you.
We’re Happy You’re Here
If you are in the Class of 2030 or an incoming transfer, we would love to get connected with you! Fill out the form to the right. We can’t wait to see you this fall. And if you’re here this summer please know that you are welcome to join us at any of our activities.
Are you an upperclassman or a grad student checking us out? You’re also welcome – we look forward to getting to know you!
What we offer
A Place to Belong at Stanford
Whether you’re a freshman arriving for the first time or a grad student looking for community, there’s a place for you here.
About Chi Alpha
Chi Alpha is a community of students earnestly following Jesus. We believe God is real, that He has revealed Himself in Jesus, that the Bible is God’s word, and that God answers prayer today. We’re known for being intellectually curious and genuinely welcoming. We’re also known for pancakes.
Worship Meetings
We gather every Wednesday at 7:30 pm for worship, teaching, and community. Casual, genuine, and open to everyone — no experience or background required.
Welcome New Students
New to Stanford? Come to a Wednesday meeting, join a life group, or just drop us a note. We want to meet you, and there’s no commitment required to show up.

Life together
More Than Wednesday Nights
Chi Alpha life happens beyond weekly meetings. We hike, do beach bonfires, eat together, and show up for each other in the ways that actually matter at Stanford.
We also host weekly life groups — discussion-based Bible studies that meet throughout the week. It’s where the real conversations happen.
Worship & teaching
Come as You Are
Our Wednesday gatherings are informal — expect live worship, a short message, and time to hang out afterward. Location varies by quarter – click the button below for more info.
No previous church experience needed. Come curious, come skeptical, come as you are. Everyone’s welcome to figure things out here.

Want to meet with a pastor?
Meet with one of our pastors. Whether you’ve got a question about the faith or need advice or encouragement, we’re here for whatever’s on your mind.
