CloseDr. Praveen Sethupathy - 5/12/2015
Am I More Than My Genes?
A geneticist explores faith, science, and the search for identity. Raised in a Hindu family, Praveen became a Christian while pursuing a computer science degree at Cornell. He went on to do his PhD at Penn in genomics and computational biology. He then completed a postdoc with Dr. Francis Collins (the researcher who led the enterprise to decode human DNA, currently serving as the director of the NIH). Dr. Sethupathy is an assistant professor of genetics at UNC - Chapel Hill where he researches microRNAs. Special thanks to the Veritas Forum for arranging for Dr. Sethupathy's presence on campus
