CloseA geneticist explores faith, science, and the search for identity. Raised in a Hindu family, Praveen became a Christian while pursuing a computer science degree at Cornell. He went on to do his PhD at Penn in genomics and computational biology. He then completed a postdoc with Dr. Francis Collins (the researcher who led the enterprise to decode human DNA, currently serving as the director of the NIH). Dr. Sethupathy is an assistant professor of genetics at UNC - Chapel Hill where he researches microRNAs. Special thanks to the Veritas Forum for arranging for Dr. Sethupathy's presence on campus

Chi Alpha has both Wednesday and Thursday services. Wednesdays are our main service, and you should go there if you can. The Thursday service has the same sermon but other than that is stripped down and smaller. Everyone is welcome. You don’t need a special invitation to join us, just saunter in and sit down like you belong — because you do!
WEDNESDAYS: Chi Alpha meets in Koret Pavilion 7:30-9:00pm Wednesday evenings.

THURSDAYS: On Thursdays we meet in 530-127 (directly behind MemChu).
