Our Meetings: When, Where, and What
When Do We Meet?
This summer we’re meeting in the Common Room on the 3rd floor of Old Union every Tuesday night at 7pm.
During the regular school year, Our weekly worship meetings run from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday nights during the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters whenever school is in session (in other words, don’t come looking for us over Christmas break).
If you’re prone to forget, we offer text-message reminders at 7:00pm every Wednesday night. If you’d like us to text you a reminder just let us know. Email chialpha@stanford.edu.
We also offer Bible studies throughout the week and we have a list of nearby churches for you to check out on Sunday mornings.
Where Do We Meet?
We meet in 300-300 (interactive map), a room between MemChu and the Clock Tower. Our lighted signs will be out and you can’t miss us.
If you happen to live off-campus, remember that parking is free in pay spots after 4 p.m., and you can also park in zones labeled A, C, and Z after 4 p.m.
What Will Happen?
Here’s a typical meeting:
- Sing songs to and about God.
- Listen to a teaching based on the Bible (you can listen to our past messages to get a feel for what this is like)
- Pray for people’s needs
- Eat snacks and swap stories
